Manaslu Trek 20 Days

This trek was officially opened to tourist in 1991, Very few Trekkers visit this pristine region which makes a visit here all unique and unspoiled. This area is marked by two cultural and historical highlights : Gorkha which is the ancestral seat of the Royal Shah dynasty and the temple of Manakamana. The trekking in this region is very unique since the starting points elevated as 1000 meters to the high pass of 5200 meters.

Manaslu region is encircled by the eight highest mountains of the world, close to Chinese border which offers you a real challenge. This trekking gives you an idea about intact tradition & culture, high & remote mountain trails.

Tibetan monks inhabit sacred monasteries & combined with the views of Tibetan plateau against stark white Himalayas all proves it as a truly spiritual place. As we continue further, we can visit very old monastery "Sama Gompa" at Sama Gaou, along with close up view of Mt. Manasalu, and our biggest challenge will be crossing Larkya La pass (5214m), here you are rewarded with great mountains views & then we descend from alpine to tropical areas, bursting with ferns, bamboos, pine, waterfalls & aqua-blue green lakes laced with cotton- white beaches.

Itinerary

Day 01:	Drive to Gorkha 1143m. which is the town of Great Prithvi Narayan Shah who unified divided Nepal in 18th Century and formed present Nepal. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 02:	Trek to Khanchok 927m. which is nice town. Overnight in the tented camp.
Day 03:	Trek khanchok to Arughat Bazar 500 m. which is situated in the bank of Budigandaki River and the major business centre for the northern Gorkha.
Day 04:	Trek to Soti Khola 530 m. The trail is nice along the riverside.
Day 05:	Trek Sotikhola to Machhikhola 890m.
Day 06:	Trek to Jagat 1350 m.
Day 07:	Trek Jagat to Philim 1700 m.
Day 08:	Trek philim to Deng 2095 m.
Day 09:	Trek Deng to Namru 2900m.
Day 10:	Trek Namru to Lhogaon
Day 11:	Trek Lhogaon to Samagaon 3450m.
Day 12:	Rest Day at Samagaon for acclimatization.
Day 13:	Trek Samagaon to Samdo 3900 m.
Day 14:	Trek Samdo to Larkya La phedi 4400m.
Day 15:	Trek larkya La Phedi – Larkya La pass 5135m. – Bhimdakothi 3350m.
Day 16:	Trek Bhimdakothi to Tilje.
Day 17:	Trek Tilje to Jagat 1800 m.
Day 18:	Trek Jagat to Ngadi. 850m.
Day 19:	Trek Nagdi to Beshisahar.
Day 20:	Drive back to Kathmandu by the public Bus.
